One of Kingdom Promotions' primary functions is to help ministries and nonprofit groups come up with creative fundraising opportunities. To do this, we are kicking off the New Year with a big bang in Florida: staffing the Pro Bowl, Super Bowl, Daytona 500, Florida State Fair and a number of PGA golfing events. What an awesome opportunity for your ministry teams -- head south during the winter, enjoy those warm temperatures and generate a good chunk of change for your group. Seriously, by connecting out of town teams with local churches who provide housing, we save money for the groups, making the trip more feasible. The way the schedule is set up, a group could potentially work both the Super Bowl and the Daytona 500. Please call if you're interested in any of the dates below. ALL dates are subject to change.

GROUP AND CLIENT TESTIMONIES
CLIENT
During the event I learned that my dad was on his death bed and EVERY member of that group DOUBLED its efforts to make my job easier so I could concentrate on calls coming from family members, doctors and such. When I shared the news with the group that my dad would not last the night, standing amidst beer cans and no shortage of trash, it was an incredible group of young people who surrounded me with their love, energy and prayers. I had a couple of the groups cell numbers, but that phone bit the dust...so I thought I would pass the word this way.
I will close with this thought: on the day that Christ came riding into Jeruselem on a borrowed ass, the religious bigots of His time told him to stop the people from exalting him and praising him and His reply was that if the people were silent then the rocks would cry out. At each event I have had the priviledge of working with folks you've sent I have marvelled at God's ability to get testimony out of beer cans, and bowl brushes, dust pans and brooms. Too, I continually marvel at how God keeps putting people in my pathway, in the strangest of places and circumstances to remind of where God called me to be...(not there yet).
GROUP
I would like to start off by saying “thank you” for supporting our ministry, the House of Peace Christian Recovery Home. Josh, you and the crew have done an awesome job of communicating and organizing events for my ministry and many others. You have truly been a blessing. Keep up the good work.
I just wanted to share with you some of the awesome power of Jesus Christ on the latest event we did for you. We loaded up a team of men to go and work the Virginia State Fair. You had us housed at Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church, along with two other groups. As we started organizing things, I found out these other groups didn’t bring enough money for food. God put it on my heart to feed them, so we all ate together – it was great. But check this out – a few days later one of the church leaders asked me how we were doing on food. I shared with him what had happened. The next day he told his congregation what I had shared with him and wow! - These people rained food on us! The next day a man came by and said God had told him to buy our food for the rest of the time we were there. I was broken by their kindness.
Later I asked if there was anything we could do for them, and they said they needed their parking lot striped. It was a very big parking lot, but praise Jesus, we finished it for them. When we left, it was like the fishes and the loaves. We had to donate food back to the church. Wow! Thank You, Jesus!
If you think that was awesome, check this out. One night I stayed back from the fair to cook for the three groups. The building we were housed in was right next to a karaoke bar. While I was standing out on the back porch I heard the most beautiful voice coming from the bar. I asked someone leaving who that was singing and a few minutes later, a young lady named Tamika came out to meet us. I told her what an awesome voice she had, and shared with her what I do: ministering to drug addicts and alcoholics. Well, she opened up, telling me she didn’t drank, do drugs, nor smoke, but said she sings for therapy. She then told me how a year and a half ago she found out she had a rare brain disease, and if she didn’t have surgery she would die. Although scared to death, she had the surgery, but the surgery failed, and she said she could die any day. She told me she knows that she knows that she knows, that if she died she would go to heaven. Jesus is her Lord and Savior. She also told me she couldn’t make it through some days without praying all day.
When the men got home from the fair, she sang for them, and they loved her! She showed up the next day just to hang out, and on the following day, when I asked her why she kept coming around, she said she enjoyed being around positive people. We just kept pouring life into her, filling her with things of God.
One day I was led by the Holy Spirit to pray a healing prayer for her. I asked the men’s home directors for their prayer warriors to join us, and when the next time she came, I asked her to sing for the men on our last night there. That night when she walked in ready to sing, I told her, “Tamika, the Bible says when praises go up, blessings come down, and tonight we want to bless you with some praise songs.” Then we started singing and the Holy Spirit fell across the whole place! She began to cry, and I asked her while everyone was singing, “Tamika, do you believe you serve a miracle working God? Do you believe Jesus can heal you? Do you believe Jesus has a plan for you and that plan is to live to tell others what He has done for you?” She was shouting, “I believe! I believe!” We then circled around her and began to pray for her. I believe God’s hand was upon us that night. She goes back to the doctor soon, but she says she just feels different. Thank You, Jesus!
Well, the people from Mt. Pisgah said that out of the hundreds of groups that have come through there, no one has ever impacted their community like the House of Peace. Praise Jesus! You see, Josh, I thought I went to Virginia to work a state fair, but our Lord Jesus had a different plan. It was a life-changing experience for me and my men. Thank you again.
In His Service,
Jack Yarbrough
